Art -- Physics

Science provides an understanding of a universal experience, and arts provides a universal understanding of a personal experience.

-Mae Jemison, 2002

Interested in both physics and art, Aedan aims to combine both fields together. He works towards promoting diversity in the sciences. He has focused much of his artwork on celebrating women scientists, inventors, engineers, and mathematicians. Aedan has also made efforts in using art to express various physical laws, such as Maxwell's Equations.

Working from Madison, Wisconsin, Aedan currently attends the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a graduate student studying physics. He plans to continue his search for a deeper meaning of physics through graduate school, while making art outside the laboratory. He has been able to participate in many opportunities around the midwest, like local art galleries in the Fox River Valley and Beloit, and exhibit three times in ArtPrize, held in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Aedan was recently accepted as a 2020 Marie Christine Kohler fellow at the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery in Madison, Wisconsin.
